Where are you located?

We are currently located at 226066 112st W, Foothills County, just south of Calgary in Granary Road. 

 

What days are you open?

As of September 2020 we are open Thursday - Monday 9am-5pm. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. During the week you may access our vendor booth inside the main building through the east side double doors across from our greenhouse. (Not the front doors)

 

What types of things do you sell?

What we sell depends on the season. Our items range from a vegetable stand with locally grown produce, some meats, gift ware, tropical plants, fruit and veggies plants, trees and shrubs, herb plants, a pumpkin patch, a fresh pressed juice bar, and so much more!

 

What is your Eat Local Produce Box?

It is a subscription based box that contains 18-22lbs of fresh locally grown Alberta produce and is a veggie based box. During the summer we have been able to import some Fresh BC Fruit to treat our members with as an added extra for them, but that is not constant. The Eat Local Produce Box can be either delivered right to your door or it is available for pick up at our Granary Road location for Calgary area or the Wood Buffalo Food Bank for the Fort McMurray area. *The Wood Buffalo Food Bank is in no way affiliated with Dunvegan Gardens and just offers their space for a pick up location*

 

What is in your Eat Local produce Box?

Our Eat Local Produce Box comes with a variety of locally grown Alberta Produce which the contents will change with each season. Currently in September we are have been able to provide items such as cabbage, corn, different varieties of squash, different peppers (Bell and hot), tomatoes, leeks, eggplant, green onion, Spanish onion, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, and so much more!

 

Can I choose what goes in my box? What if we have allergies?

At this time, you cannot choose every item that goes into your box as it depends on what we have available for harvest and the supply and demand. With that being said, we are very accommodating to allergies or intolerances. If there are accommodations that need to be made to your Eat Local Produce Box, please reach out to us via Facebook, Instagram, or email at support@dunvegangardens.com

 

Where do you deliver to?

Our delivery areas include Calgary and its surrounding area, including places such as High River, Turner Valley, Okotoks, Airdrie, Cochrane, Langdon, and Chestermere, and Sylvan Lake. We also deliver to Red Deer and Fort McMurray. If your area is not listed here, please reach out to us and we can confirm your area for you. 

 

How do I pick up?

If you are in the Calgary area, our pick up location is located at 226066 112st W, Foothills County in Granary Road. If this is your very first pick up order, you will be contacted to arrange your first pick up as we would like to package it fresh for you. After that, a day each week will be discussed with you and that will be your set pick up day going forward. 

If you are in the Fort McMurray area, the pick up location is the Wood Buffalo Food Bank at Gregorie, 187 Mackenzie Blvd. Pick up days and times are Tues/Wed 9am-5pm only. Please keep in mind that you may have to wait in line with the regular patrons when picking up your order. Please also keep in mind that the Wood Buffalo Food Bank is in no way affiliated with Duvegan Gardens and will in no way be able to answer any questions you may have. What are your delivery days?

As of September 2020 our current deliveries days are as follows:

Tuesdays: North Calgary, Cochrane, Airdrie, and areas of Rocky View County

Tuesdays/Wednesdays: Innisfail, Sylvan Lake, Red Deer, and Fort McMurray

Fridays: South Calgary and surrounding area, including places such as Langdon, Chestemere, Okotoks, High River, Turner Valley.
